aye, it does seem like they have not utilised any of the modern technical advances in the motorcycle industry, retro shouldn’t mean old tech, it should mean older looks with modern performance!

tbh Norton are no more British than the Queen judging by their TT entry… proper mixiblob of parts from everywhere but the UK on that!
I thought the road bike was manufactured here at Donington. I was contacted about working for them by a couple of agencies about a year ago.
As for the Hesketh I do like the look of them, like a old V8 Aston Martin they have a certain something despoite being, in any sensible test, a bit crap!
Hesketh have just produced their last V1000 after 32 years of slow, mostly hand built production. Going on to make an entirely new, but still V twin, bike.
From the Hesketh Facebook page:
After 32 years of continuous low volume production, this is the very last new V1000 to be produced by Hesketh Motorcycles.
Just a few more detail parts and testing before the hand over to its owner.
At this time we need to congratulate Lord Hesketh, Bubbles Horsley, Mick Broom and the original team for their continuous commitment in keeping the Hesketh name alive.
