I had a word with James about the T shirts – they should be doing a run very soon.

Had such an awesome time, even managed to see some bike racing too… although not as much as we hoped due to the weather stopping play.

I got to the circuit nice and early Thursday eve and roped off an area for the rest of my mates when they were able to get there

First night at the camp was a quiet affair with a couple of tinnies and a bbq. I woke pretty early to find my feet were rather blue and my mouth had turned into a rattle that no amount of duvet or blankets could stop lol…

Not felt that cold in a very long time, it was bloody painful. I knew I’d not be able to get back to sleep and couldn’t warm up so got up which blessed me with the stunning sunrise below

When we were all up and slightly human we went off to the Kentagon for breakfast and robbed their power to charge our phones. This became our routine for the weekend and proved successful enough to keep our phones juiced all weekend. Outside the Kentagon was a lovely MZ

Due to the small crowds on the Friday we were able to get to the good viewing spots and grab some phots.

I tried playing with the settings and got some nice shots in panorama although they didn’t always join correctly but quite cool for just a cameraphone

Was really nice to have the sun out and with walking about we all warmed up from the bitter night.

We went back to the Kentagon in the afternoon and caught up with some mates over a beer

We were beginning to flag a bit tho so bid them adue and headed off to the campsite for a siesta…. which was a sound plan that I chose in my infinite wisdom to ignore. I decided a lap of Brands on my BMX was a good idea…. which it wasn’t lol [:D]

There should be a Youtube link here of my stupidity but it stopped recording at the top of Paddock Hill… I only made it to the bottom and the majority of that was on my face lol [:D]

In the eve Staff and myself pirated up which went down well back in the Kentagon

The weather clouded over and the drizzle began. This had the advantage of keeping the temp above freezing which I was massively grateful of as it was just so damn cold the first night. It also seemed to keep the crowds at bay too so we got some more phots

More pirating and wenches followed that eve

The weather deteriated further and got more and more soggy but was still amazing to have the bikes, the beer and the buddies to share it with.

I had a totally wicked time and the cold and wet only glitched it a little bit. Shame half the racing was cancelled but it was for the safety of the riders and a good call.

Team After Dark were really flying so was disappointing for them to not be allowed back out after the oil incident. Next round guys you’ll blitz it! [:D]

It was great to meet you Pete, hope the face is a bit better!!!!!!!! Real strange weekend for us but we’re really pleased with the prospects. It’s difficult to know where james was going to slot into the picture but he was showing good form. Now we look forward to Assen in 4 weeks. You ought to come Pete, its a real party weekend!!!!!!!
