I have not felt like getting out much in the last couple of weeks but I was grateful to my old mates Thumper and Eddie who insisted I meet them up at my local bikers cafe for a traditional ‘light-salad’
On a bright, spring like day the turn out of bikes was amazingly varied…
From here I will let the pics do the talking
The Fazer gets its’ first outing for a while…only 23 miles but fun on a bike that is understated but hugely capable
Thumper and Eddie roll in on their GS and 1050 Tiger respectively
Sweet 848 and purposeful Supemoto Ducatis
Thumper got chatting with this cahp who arrived on Villiers powered James Commodore…he could call it Lionel…he was a Commodore…I will get me coat!
Well worn Ariel looked like it could tell a few good stories
Beauty and the Beast. A Superdream and a TZR250…I will let you work out which one is which…
Immaculate MZ…they weren’t this tidy when new!
Tidy Triumph keeps a FJ1200 company
Loads of Harleys about all weekend
Closer look at that delightful TZR250,140kg and 50bhp of pure two-stroke fun…my favourite bike there
Such a shame that Harley pulled the plug on these interesting sports bikes
The proud AJS brand is now used to peddle Chinese built 125s. A Franceis Barnett snears in the back ground…we used to have a empire you know!
Thundercat in an interesting colour…
Bit of late 80’s GSXR action for you…
Suzuki 250X7…100mph 250
Compulsory GT750. This one seemed absolutely perfect
Hard to believe the stunning MV f4 is now 12 years old!
This LC came in with the X7, it could of been 1980 all over again!
Proper trial bike, good job it wasn’t windy it would of blown away it was so light!
Thumper and Edd mount up for the short run back to BrumI only did 23 miles, but I really enjoyed myself. Cheers for dragging me out lads!
