At the age of 83, Ted Fenwick stormed to victory in the opening race of the Blackford Pre-TT Classic Road Races, held on the Billown course on Saturday.
Mr Fenwick piloted his beloved 250cc Ducati to an emphatic 38-second victory, beating riders a fraction of his age.
The retired engineer said: “I didn’t know who was behind me or who was in front, but it was a nice feeling to find out that I had won.”
