A friend of mine bought a “new” Enfield Bullet a couple of years ago and mentioned that Watsonian Squire (the importers) were having an open day this weekend. As they are only just up the road in Blockley I took my son Max out for a quick trip out on the Blade on Saturday.
We arrived about 10 and had a wander around the bike park – Old, New, New looking Old and Old looking New.
RIP Uncle Bulgaria!
Being Watsonian Squire there were a few side cars about:
Max had a go – and no I’m not putting one on the Blade
even a Minimoto outfit
The latest range of Enfields were there to try
After seeing this my friend ordered one – must be popular as there is a 3 month wait.
“New” 500cc fuel injected Enfield engineGood free morning out and we both had a lovely “Light Salad” from the Light Salad van

Still have a soft spot for the Enfields and that last cafe racer one looks very nice.

I had a sit on it, the bike is very small and the seat is a board but that ally tank is lovely. Also with the “sports” exhaust they sound pretty good as well.
If you fancy one here are the details:

All I will say to those who havn’t ridden one is ….if you have the chance to try one out then go for it! BUT, be prepared for a never to be forgotton experience!
