BIG CHANGES TO THE FORUM

Hi all

Just a quick note to ask you all to bear with me while I change the forum. It will be a big change to a new platform. Long-term this will have significant benefits – better search engine linking, faster speed, more features, better security etc.

Temporarily, if the site goes down, you can use http://www.bikemeet.net which will bring you to the same pages. Please click and bookmark it now, just in case. Your login will be the same but you will simply have to login again.

The downside is that the cost is going to be quite a bit again. Over the years I have run it, the forum has cost me somewhere in the region of £600. Not a cheap hobby….

Although donations have trickled in now and then, there has not been anything for a few years, so if you feel like contributing, please click on the donate button at the foot of the page. Even a few pounds helps a lot. If you don’t then that’s fine, perhaps you can find the time to post a few articles to the new site when it’s up. Just to let me know you’re still there!

I hope to leave the old site up with the great content that you have put in over the years but it will take a lot of time and hacking about to do this change, so once again keep your eyes peeled and give me lots of feedback because it’s still going to be a free site for everyone and the emphasis will be on quality.
