alright guys, heres a question for you. thinking caps on:)
im probably going to mount the shorty exhaust (pic in members bikes section) under the seat of the 10. obviously there is no cut out under the seat as most underseat bikes have to conceal the back end of the can. so im going to have to mount it paralell with the seat unit….not a problem, but what sort of heat are we going to be seeing coming off the can and the link pipe? obviously if my seat is going to melt then it might be a silly idea.i do however have some of that silver heat resisting tape stuff, will that do the job and refelcting the heat back at the can? or am i going to need something more heavy duty like the metal heatshields you get on the top of CBR600RR/CBR1000RR exhausts?
the link pipe isnt a major worry as i can exhaust wrap it (worst case) cos it might look shat.
i found a couple of pics on the net of CBR600RR/CBR1000RR exhausts and that but on the pics where people have taken the standard one off they seem to have ditched the heat shield toocheers guys
