Sorry for the unexpected downtime today, hopefully all up and running well again.
November 25, 2008 at 3:55 pm #57041imperialdataKeymasterThis site has now got to be moved to new name servers, please bear with me while this happens. It will be a good long-term move for the relative short-term disruption.
If http://www.bikemeet.net does not work for you, please use http://www.thebikeforum.co.uk until the issue is resolved.
Thanks
Dave

we all back and sorted ?November 27, 2008 at 12:10 pm #57043imperialdataKeymasterNot fully sorted, I’m having a game getting the old registrar to release the .com domain.
Please carry on using thebikeforum.co.uk for now, will keep you updated here.
November 27, 2008 at 6:53 pm #57044imperialdataKeymasterOK, it seems that within 24 hours all DNS issues will be resolved. If you can see the site now, then it works for you.
Please don’t forget that if you are mentioning the site or linking to it, the address is http://www.bikemeet.net
I have been tweaking the right hand sidebar which shows current auctions on eBay. For a few weeks (months!) I’ve been developing an auction bargain finder which works well. Try a search for your fave bike, eg ‘r1’ or ‘katana’ and you’ll pull up the current UK auction bargains. The colours are a bit in-your-face at the moment but it works well.
Let me know what you think!

*sigh*
Other than that (which I don’t believe you can help with), the finder works well!
