The trusty old rugsack is getting a bit long in the tooth and its about time i got a replacement and was wondering if any one has any experiance of these https://www.bikermart.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=OL520
August 15, 2008 at 10:58 pm #56389BigBenParticipanti havnt had experience with that exact model of tank bag but to be honest anything oxford is built to quite a high standard. i just have a 24 litre capacity tank bag and its never let me down. however i would recommend laying some cloth under to stop it scratching your tank. this is all to common with any sort of luggage.
August 15, 2008 at 11:02 pm #56390mart13Participanta mate has got an oxford tank bag and its crap , the magnets leave marks on the tank , i know quite a few people inc myself who have aldi tank bags and they fantasic for the price , loads better in my opinion , check out the aldi website regulary as they sell motorcycle stuff every few months or so , worth the wait as they’re cheaper and better and sell for about £20

August 17, 2008 at 11:36 pm #56392RadarModeratorI have read many positive reports about the Aldi and Lidl biking gear. I use a Yamaha branded magnetic tank bag. The magnets are protected on this and so it does not mark my tank, I am very happy with it.
