    Just wondering if you people think that KTM missed the boat when they pulled out of Ewan McGregor’s long way round tour as a sponsor. It kinda left a big hole which BMW quickly filled. I dare say sales of Beemers went up a very large amount on the strength of this journey.

    I think they could have been wise if they didn’t think their bikes were up to it!

    But didn’t BMW make them sign a contract telling them not to mention they were running non standard frames etc?

    BMW GS sales have definately benefitted from the publicity generated. I wonder what they will try next??
