Thinking about getting one of these for when GF passes her DAS.
What are they like to ride, pro’s and con’s? Is it a good first big bike??
Have seen a blue 02 reg one with FSH and has covered 5900 miles for £2.5k. Is that a good price???
Had mine 8 years. Great all round bike. Possibly a little heavy and powerful for a first big bike, although it is very easy to ride.
Thumper is thinking about selling his 1997 R reg Thundercat (8,000) miles. PM him for a price
Have tried both Thumper’s and Radar’s bikes. First impression was how easy they are to ride. Smooth power delivery, light clutch and no real surprises. Positive steering and handling. I’d say buy one if the seat height is OK for her, it’s a great all-rounder. Not sure about the price, perhaps check with Used Bike Guide or similar.
