Ok I have been looking at tyre prices for my bike and have found a place on the internet that can do a pair of diablos for £176 (£184.50 delivered) or a pair of diablo corsas for £180 (£188.50 delivered). Now this is compared to the quote of £260 for a pair of diablos bought and fitted locally, these ones off the internet are cheaper than the tyres for my old 600! So thats not the issue, and not bothered about which ones I go for so far as price cos there is only £4 difference. What I want to know is which is the better tyre? I think the corsa is the stickier, but you all know I am a bit hard on my tyres, so am I better off with just the diablo or will the corsa last just as long?

Go for the Corsas. The money you have saved can offset the lower mileage you will get from them

I think I read somewhere that the Corsas are more race-developed for road use, so suit “heavy” riding.. but dont like running cold.

Once the diablos are up to temp there just as good as the corsas, the only differance being the corsas get to temp quicker. If your doing the up north trip alot this year then its worth bearing in mind that the diablo is the better choice as youl get more milage. Also for a bit of scratchin theres no probs, just build the temp up.
