AIM Racing has signed Adrian Archibald and Guy Martin for its 2006 road racing campaign. Both riders met with team owner Alistair Flanagan recently and agreed terms and conditions for the 2006 season.
Alistair Flanagan commented “I wanted to continue with the TT in 2006. I am again in talks with Yamaha with regards to competing under their banner. But to continue with our winning formula, I need a strong line up to ensure I could build on the teams’ success from 2005. The two riders I know that can ride at this level on the roads are Adrian and Guy. AIM Racing will again be competing at the major road racing events including the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.
We are also looking at doing the two World Superbike venues held in the UK and a number of European rounds. We are already in talks with a number of people with regards to sponsorship for 2006, so it will again be an exciting year for the team.
We are already looking at our pre-season test programme in Daytona. Last year the BSB testing held in Spain was a near wash out, whilst, we were still able to complete a full test schedule. This included a number of races, one of which being the Daytona 200.
Over the next several weeks I will be in a position to confirm AIM Racings full 2006 calendar.”

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!
