January 5, 2006 at 8:04 pm #40958GixParticipantYeah I was taken to the pictures on my 25th birthday (during the day) and when I returned at around 4.30pm, I looked out the patio window where my 2 bikes stood and thought hmmmmmm something dont look right, something is missing, it was getting dark so at first thought the one bikes had fallen over in bad wind again…….then I realised as I let the dogs out that one had gone, the padlock on the back gate was smashed up. As the bike was halfway through clutch overhaul and I had been waiting for parts, it wasnt rideable so knew they would not get far. Called police and they were as much use as a chocolate tea pot, I then spent the rest of the evening scouring the wastelands and parklands of Tamworth in the rain searching for it and the little scrotes. Finally found it with electrics ripped out, no reg plate and a few new scratches 4 mile away on another estate. Amazingly, fixed bike, chained it to my RD which had no engine in it, and within a fortnight was sitting in the lounge when the dogs started barking, went to the patio door to see several “youths” scrambling over the back fence, opened door and smelled petrol. Because they couldnt take bikes any where, they had syphoned the fuel out of them, and the little bastards ran off with fuel caps still in their grubby mits.
Incidently, the bike that was nicked, was previously stolen from my parents house, and I got it back then too, they made too much noise and struggled to get it up road with steering lock still on and a heavy frost on the ground, when they saw me racing up behind them in barefoot and chain in hand, they dropped the bike and ran off.[:o)]

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!

January 5, 2006 at 11:32 pm #40962RadarModeratorLast month my sisters Moped was nicked from my car port. Little runts also buggered the ignition of my CB250RS. I do have a crime number though!
