Byrne back in Superbikes
Former British Superbike Champion Shane Byrne begins his pre-season work with two days of testing in Spain on Monday.
The 29-year-old, back with Suzuki after a stint in MotoGP, said: “I have not ridden the GSX-R1000 before so this will allow me to get acquainted.“I can’t wait to get started, I only hope the weather isn’t the typical Christmas scene with snow and ice.”
Colleague James Haydon will not be in Almeria, he is staying at home with his wife and newly born son.
