The US army wants a robotic vehicle that is capable of traveling up to 150 miles across a desert (wonder why?), of 200 designs only one was based on a motorbike. It didn’t win, or even complete the course, but some of the ideas for uses of this technology include accident recreation and analysis and durability testing of new parts. This is interesting stuff, perhaps I could get one with a video link that I could send out in the wet and watch my ride in the comfort of my living room on the telly!!
