    Its lately puzzled me why they don’t advertise motorbikes on TV. At least it would make adverts worth watching.

    They do on the Eurosport channel and sometimes on Sky sports but only when races are on TV, coz they have to shell out a few bob on advetising they have to reach their target audience, hence advetise to bike racing viewers etc…..

    I’d rather see a bike advert….than ones from loan companies or credit cars or Yes car credit……..But then saying that tend to mute adverts!

    I think we need some on non sports channels. There seem to be plenty for cars.

    Yep.. lets have some bike adverts around dinner time, with scantly dressed big-boobed babes in bathing costumes (I’m getting carried away again!!)

    Bikes sales are tiny in this country at around 100,000 units per year including mopeds. Cars sell nearly 2,000,000 per year. Hence the revenue generated by the sales does not justify the cost of a prime time advert.
    Dull answer I know, but true.

    But I bet ya if they put some scantly dressed babes sprawling on the bikes at dinner time prime time viewing, the sales will “go up”

    But do we REALLY want them to? One of the things that attracts me to biking is that it ISN’T a mainstream activity. Increased sales would lead to blander bikes and blander bikers, not good.

    i can just image the sort of numpties that would be on the adverts either born again tossers or fake hells angels dont know which is worse
