I remember at my first job being sent to get some skyhook stationery.
Got my own back few years later, asking the new trainee to go upstairs to the workshop for a left handed screwdriver and a long weight(wait).

Just done it with my apprentice. Sent him into the electrical suppliers for a long weight and 2 fallopian tubes. Supplier pissed himself laughing. Apprentice has vowed to get me back and I’m sure he will.
Back in the ealy 80`s, a young lad had started in work so me and the lads asked him to go to the local fasteners and ask for a tin of tartan paint,he came back 15 mins later blushing then started to cry.

I got caught out in my youth by all the lards in my department putting the section clock forward by 1 hour. I went to lunch early and wound up getting a huge b@llocking from the boss. CHEERS LADS!! 20 years ago and I still cringe!
