I’m due to put a new trye on the front and would like to use proper road tyres instead of the ‘Adventure’ tryes that are made for the Varadero. I’ve tracked down a Bridgstone BT 020 that will fit my bike but my rear tyre is a Bridgestone Trailwing, big traille style.

Will I be able to mix the tyres?

the bt0102 is a excelent tyre all of the boys have used them for the last 2 years and find them excellent just tried the o1o4 they have just come out and they are brilliant also for grip wet or dry but wear down fast ive done 2800 and now need to change them so i am going back to the 0102

Got an answer off Bridgestone, I can’t mix my Trailwing rear with a BT020 front, I have to replace the pair or get a Trailwing front. These tryes are town and country although you would never take the Varadero off road as it is too heavy.

The BT020’s are purely road tyres which would fit my riding style better at the moment, so it looks as though I will have to save my pennies.
