50cc machines imported from China to the UK outsold those from Japn by 10 to 1 in 2003! This did include mini motos BTW.
How long before they take on the bigger Japanese bikes of 600cc and more?
Could china do the Japanese what they did to our bike industry?
Read about a Chinese bike called FOSTI. CG125 copy. Never heard them before!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, Vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, what a ride!

Look round for some reviews, they all get thumbs down. There is a copy of the sv that was tested on one of the bike programs and the two testers rubbished it completely.
I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening; I drank and danced all night with doubt and found her a virgin in the morning.

December 30, 2005 at 6:18 pm #26812GSX RatParticipantTry googling for them, cant remember the name of the programme with the bike test but it was on men and motors with a bloke and some woman presenting.
And where do you think the phrase “as poorly made as a chinese motorbike” comes from?

December 31, 2005 at 7:06 pm #26813RadarModeratorYou get what you pay for I suppose, but some of them are less than a 1/3 the price of a Japanese equivalent. They would only need to last a couple of years to be cost effective.

The other was in one of these pit bikes that are advertised on ebay, although his lad ran it like he did all the hondas he had – all day on the field flat out with him and his mates on it, with little or no regard to oil changes etc (which you could do with a honda!). This one lasted 3 weeks before it siezed and an old honda 90 engine went in it. The second one may not really be a fair test, but as you said, you gets what you pays for…..I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening; I drank and danced all night with doubt and found her a virgin in the morning.

January 1, 2006 at 6:32 pm #26815RadarModeratorThere seems to be very little on these bikes in the mainstream press, surprised MCN or BIKE have not featured them. They must be selling, though I have only seen one or two on the road.
You can live more in five minutes on a motorbike going high speed than you can going slow in your whole lifetimeJanuary 1, 2006 at 9:32 pm #26816TlzeebubbParticipantThe only reason that you have only seen one or two of them radar is that they are all in workshops being repaired lol. As you said you get what you pay for [?] [?]cheap unreliable machines.
How far do you go
