The Boss Hoss 502 which I had a go on was difficult enough to ride, but was a Ducati 999R by comparison with that thing!

Demonstrating that you can, in fact, sit on the thing whilst it is moving.
If you read up about it, the bike was never designed to be ridden on the highway.

Other than a failed spark plug it did 7000 miles, mainly at manic speeds with no trouble at all.
Sex on wheels with a soundtrack to die for.

Radar, which XJR do you have?
I had a new XJR1300 in 2000 from a Yamaha dealer in Braintree who were beating even (the no longer in business) Motorcycle City prices at the time. It was a great bike if a bit windy at speed.
