LOL
Two Shropshire speed cameras have been attacked by vandals in less than 24 hours. A speed trap in Bennett’s Bank, Wellington – Shropshire’s first permanent camera – was attacked in the early hours of Sunday morning by arsonists.
A camera in Holyhead Road, Ketley, was daubed with red paint on Saturday.
Police said the Bennett’s Bank camera attack was being treated as criminal damage. This is the third attack on the camera in the two years since it went live.
Two years ago a disgruntled motorist sliced it in half with an industrial circular saw.
Telford Police spokesman Constable Pete Simmonds said an investigation had been launched after vandals used an accelerant to start the fire shortly before 2.20am, damaging the camera box, lens and case.
Vicki Bristow, for the Safety Camera Partnership which is responsible for the cameras, said officers were on the scene this morning assessing the extent of the damage.
LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vacuum in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, there goes another engine!
