ParticipantWell if you aint scared of the cold go have a look,could be some of the best small track racing you have ever seen.
it is on the 7th of december starts about 10 ish big names riding.
they use the bomb hole and cut across the dirt near the pit entrance and go allong side the bridge road and back round again.
Last year a mate of mine raced there and told me they did over 100 mph round the bomb hole and it was sheet ice how cool is that!

ModeratorI have been to Snetterton many times and the bomb hole is, as Cookeye says, a corner around the remains of a bomb crater. It was a base used by American B-17 Flying Fortress bombers in WW2 and I think the bomb was actually American and not German. Either on a dump or from a crash landed plane coming back from a mission.
