I passed in March 1984, having taken a two part test. I had been riding on L plates since October 1982 on my Honda CB100N, and this was the machine I took my test on.
I took my test on 17th June 2000 at 13.03 and passed first time with 3 minors, indicated too early pulling out from behind parked car, pulled onto a dual carraigeway a bit too close behind a lorry but lengthened gap by decelleration hence it was counted as just a minor, and made a little bit too much progress down a narrow winding road and examiner struggled to keep sight of me on his lardy BMW[:o)], but as I stayed a few mph below limit I was ok.[

Before taking test I had ridden on CBT, before that, er on and off not strictly legal, may I burn in hell lol[:0]1969 on my mates yellow and black Lambretta TV175, cos my dad didn’t want me to have a bike as there very dangerous, passed ok, went out and bought a BSA 650 Roadrocket for 25quid, those were the days.
1990 bought a MZ ETZ125 from Pleasley Motorcycles at Mansfield brand new to do it on, my test was a two part as well, did it at chalfont drive in Nottingham.
Took my CBT 7th Jan
Theory 11th Jan
and Passed my Test first time 3 minors on 23rd Jan 2006
