    Always saddened by the death of a racer.

    “To all the race fans out there unfortunately we have to bring you the terrible news that Richard Britton was tragically killed today 18 th September 2005 in the 250cc race in Ballybunion South of Ireland.”

    RIP Richard, and my sympathys to all your family and friends.

    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!

    Very sad to hear news like this,Richard Britton was a fantastic road racer not only in his beloved Northern Ireland but also on the I.O.M….R.I.P.
