    hi there
I am really struggling getting hold of missing parts for my Starfire at a sensible price! there are lots of people advertising their wears in all the magazines but they charge an arm and a leg! I am one of the golden oldies looking to cure my mid-life crisis by returning to biking after 30 years but at this rate it’s going to cost me in the region of £1500 to get my bike back on the road!
Things like mudguards – £75 = for one! one stay, only one, £35 !
I know we all have to make a living but surely………….
If anyone out there has a basket case B25 or Triumph 250- I would love to hear from you as it will be cheaper for me to buy another bike than trying THE DEALERS !!
As they say, let’s use ’em

Welcome to the forum Derek. Best of luck with finding parts for your Triumph.

Hi Derek, always nice to see an old bike(r) on the road!

I notice you’re in Halifax. In Birmingham there is a treasure of a place called C and D Autos. They are a family firm and specialise in BSA’s. Maybe you’ve heard of them? I have no affiliation with the shop but I remember going in there 20 years ago and they had everything for every BSA! May be worth a try if you haven’t already. Good luck and let us know if you are after anything in particular, post a free advert in the Buy and Sell section.
