September 21, 2005 at 7:30 pm #31983riff-raffParticipantWinters building time for me,so my bike will be stripped, polished and hopefully many shiny things added to it.
I,ve been told that WD40 can lead to the breakdown of electrical componants if used over a large period of time and that a silicon based spray is preferable.
Don,t know that thats a fact but it was an electrician that told meThe evil that men do lives on and on…….

life sucks get used to it
September 21, 2005 at 9:13 pm #31991riff-raffParticipantUsed to use it for cleaning firearms but I,ve found that it attracts dust a little and as such is a big no-no for semi-automatic weapons……………..also a bit nasty on the blueing
