A letter in The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday revealed some absurd behaviour from City of London Police. Apparently a doctor called by Police to attend an emergency is being prosecuted for driving at 29mph across Tower Bridge while returning home. The Police have refused to cancel the ticket.

This comes the day after the RAC Foundation revealed that of 45,000 police caught speeding on camera only 2% faced any penalty.

Paul Smith, founder of the Safe Speed road safety campaign (www.safespeed.org.uk) said: “The Police have become their own worst enemy. They are going from PR disaster to PR disaster mainly because of the absurd way they enforce the speeding law against responsible citizens. They must learn that it is their duty to enforce the law in the public interest.”

LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!
