I’ve got a 1989 GPX750. Do the generator oil seal and bearing just pull off the shaft or do I have to take out the engine and split it like the manual says. Cheers

    Welcome to the forum

Regarding your problem, I must admit to not knowing, but i would assume the manual says remove the engine for a reason. Often there are ways around the ‘official’ method perhaps someody in the kwack owners club for example could help?

Let us know how you get on

Rare bike the GPX, do you have any pics?

Yikes, serious engine work there. Can’t help but a warm welcome anyway.

PS Engines usually drop out easier than most people think!
