Going to my friends funeral tomorrow, in Weymouth. And will be stopping overnight. Hope the weather drys up tomorrow, Jan’s being escorted through Weymouth with a bike procession to her final resting place, and we’re all gonna make sure she has a bloody good send off and say my final farewells!

LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!

November 5, 2005 at 4:30 pm #35454barmy_carmyParticipantThanx everyone, it all went very well, approx 25 bikes turned up for procession through Weymouth and along seafront to the Cremetorium, which was overflowing with family, friends and colleagues. Jan championed the homeless and worked effortlessly for the Womens Refuge, not to mention her biking passion, she was a well loved person. I passed on your messages of sympathy, and the family were very much touched and warmed by your sympathies, and they said to thankyou from their hearts…..Seee being a biking family they know they have an extended family of bikers. So it really did touch them.
I’m gonna try and post some pics for ya.
Yeah I know slightly worse for wear…But had to send Jan off the way she wanted. It all went perfectly. And Jan will live on in our hearts and minds!I’m not riding fast, I’m just flying low. and please DONATE to this website

Don`t ride faster than your guardian angel can fly!….
Deep down inside me there`s a skinny girl trying to come out, but normally I can shut that b*tch up with some chocolate!…..
November 6, 2005 at 12:33 pm #35456barmy_carmyParticipantThanx Speedy Lol! But I got the amount of bikes wrong. We were near the front and Dave said that other bikes joined on route, so there was more like 40 – 50 bikes. It was good to see quite a few peeps….a blast from the past, haven’t seen some for 15 -20 yrs, And we just picked up where we left off, And I’m sure Jan was there with us in spirit at the wake, I know it is what she wanted. I will be ringing and checking Moz and family over the next few weeks, because it’s probably now that it will effect them badly, will ring them to let them know I’m here if they need me.
