ModeratorJust had some new BT016’s put on the blade as the front tyre had gone a very funny shape. Need to so a few miles yet to scrub them in.
Also got a new kill switch fitted as it kept cutting out whilst riding along which could make for some interesting moments!
Kinda bought a new helmet too!July 28, 2012 at 9:53 am #63981HippoDrones
Participantcheck your side stand switch too as that could be causing the engine to cut in and out!

ModeratorCheers Pete, I had checked a few things and determined it was the kill switch. £130 too!

I know! It has been feeling very left out. Been out for an hours blast tonight and loved it! It’s so much quicker than the CBF, opened it up in 2nd the way I would on the CBF and the front wheel was in the air, oops!
Scrubbed the tyres in a bit now though so it will be getting more attention

ParticipantDid you buy a LS2 helmet in the end?

ModeratorYeah I did, not the carbon fibre one but a slightly cheaper one. Was £169 so thought if I don’t get on with it then its not the end of the world
