The crisp winter sunshine tempted me out today, but as the roads are a bit mucky I took the 125. The little Suzuki needed an outing anyway. I took the back way up to Quattford and did a little exploring along the way…great fun…
125 in a suitably ‘arty’ pose, the rolling Shropshire hills providing the backdropI even did a little genuine green laning, perhaps not the best idea on road tyres, but it absolutely great fun! I really must get myself a DR or DT125!
Coming back down the slope was interesting, nearly binned it a couple of times!
Used a ford to help get some of the mud off!Once at the cafe I was amazed at how many bikes were out and at the variety…everything from a brace of classic BSAs, a Vmax, a jet black MV F4, the compulsory GT750 Kettle and even a little RXS100. I have pics, but I am having pc issues at the moment. But it was great to see so many bikes out

There is no bacon like ‘bikers cafe’ bacon…Anyway fun 30 miles and the 125 got a well deserved through clean once I got home

Nice to do a little loop in the tricky stuff from time to time to hone the throttle, brake and balance skills.

I really did, I might go out on the 125 again this weekend…not sure if I will actually go greeen laning on it this time though!

it is the rebore, piston, rings and top end bearing…. trouble is I don’t know what ones to order until its been rebored. ty for the offer tho… not sure if the owner of the RXS would be so pleased tho
