Mini-bike crash teenager critical
A teenage boy is in a critical condition in hospital after his mini motorbike hit a metal gate.
The 14-year-old suffered serious head injuries in the accident in Eton, Berkshire, on Sunday.The youngster was riding a single-seat mini motorbike along an unlit bridle path at South Meadow Lane when the accident happened.
He was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
At the end of last year, Thames Valley Police launched a campaign to make people aware of the dangers of mini-scooters, go-peds and mini-motos.
