Back in 1981/2 I was a spotty 16/17 year old apprentice at a big engineering factory in Brum. Come lunchtime me and few mates would often walk over to the Kawasaki dealers over the road…the long gone Hangers.
We would sit on the bikes, stuff like Z1000s, GPz550s and the like and just dream one day our 50s and 100s would be swapped for these great machines
A few days ago a colleague bought a 82 GT750 project bike and the memories came flooding back, happy days
