This is sheer madness! A honda civic driver loses control, swerves into the R1 rider and then tells the coppers that the biker hit him as he was stopped! Thing is, she was running a camcorder set up on her bike….

Dont think so mate, but if you read the whole thread you will find the bloke was a complete @rsehole, he was in the “carpool” lane yet had no passengers (this lane is for “car sharing” and using it whilst not sharing a car is illegal), he had been witnessed by another driver for driving aggressively before the incident took place and its pretty obvious his standard of driving leaves alot to be desired. The model of car he was driving is apparently renowned for “swapping ends” under heavy or panicked use of the brakes, I reckon he was otherwise distracted, looked up to see the car ahead brake lights and panic braked even though he had enough room infront of him to break normally. So ok he was breaking loads of laws apparently, and sure he didnt mean to do a 180 across 3 lanes, but to try and blame the biker was what really gives him the label of biggest @rsehole so far this year behind the wheel of a cage….
