Anyone owned, ridden or even know-of any of the lesser-known bikes?
WSK, JUPITER, GUILIETTA, TESTI, SANGLAS, just a few of the ones i’ve had.
December 28, 2005 at 9:05 am #40621RadarModeratorHeard of them, and I remember SANGLAS in particular as they used Yamaha engines and were built in Spain. Are they still going??

LOVE IS GIVING SOMEONE THE ABILITY TO DESTROY YOU, THEN TRUSTING THEM NOT TO.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, VODKA in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming…….WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!!

December 28, 2005 at 4:15 pm #40626RadarModeratorBike Pics lists over 200 brands and it has missed loads (like Snglas for example), and when we go the bike museum you will see loads of obsurce British makers long extinct.

Silk were still selling the 2 stroke 700S until the early 1980’s and there was a small dealer in Coventry that I saw with a couple in stock. Took a look, interesting bikes.
(The Google search works a treat ID)Healey I have not heard of, but I think Munch is a German brand. Might be the ones that used an NSU car engine from the Prinz. Not completely sure.

The Munch Mammoth used car engines, usually a 2-litre 4-pot as i recall.
