    ive a 1970 sohc cb750 chop!
i dont have a dipped beam. just a low and a high beam which both work off the original switch.
should this be a problem for the mot as it was never fitted with a dip?
    cheers rob

    Have a look in here:

    https://www.motuk.co.uk/manual/mc_contents.htm

It maybe worth printing out the relevent section and taking it with you to show the MOT tester (isn’t low beam the same as dipped?)

In the worst case tape it over and go for a daylight MOT

I agree with Katana, Bagakaki, the low beam is the dipped beam. Put your bike in front of a garage door or wall turn your low beam on and switch to high beam and you should see the beam move up or down. just make sure that the headlamp is adjusted so that the beam height is at the right level.Welcome to the forum BTW
