Saw an indicated 200 mph in the north of the Island, whatever that is in real terms. It felt ‘kin fast, I tell yer!
(2005 GSXR1000, full Akrapovic system, k and n air filter, re-map, 167 bhp at the rear wheel).
Had a 5-mile ding-dong with a guy in a Aston Martin DB9.

Wot a rush GSXR! Happy to say I’ve been for a good blat today. We went to Portland to see friends, plenty of bikes out and about to play with, was a brilliant day……………and still grinning from ear to ear!

It felt very, very quick.
It is the equivalent of covering the length of the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff EVERY SECOND at that speed.
I overtook a German guy on a ZX6-R who was doing about 120 and he said later when we caught up for a natter, that I came past as if he was standing still and the noise as I went by scared the pants off him.
I was doing about 11,000rpm in 5th at the time, not even in top yet!Wah Hey! I bet that got your heart pumping Lol! We managed 130mph……allegedly!
