With the advent of all the new and incredible 450cc Supermoto offerings, I was sorely tempted to turn my back on; Husky, big engines and lotsa vibes through the bars and pegs.
BUT, the chance of a NOX came up on Good Friday and it is now all mine!
WHAT a bike!
This one has no lights, is semi-race-prepared and is only legal for daylight, having just s bicycle horn and a stoplight/reflector.
107kgs and 64bhp…yee-haa!
Jeez this thing flies.
WHO NEEDS A BLADE/R1, ON REAL ROADS ANYWAY?April 10, 2004 at 4:02 pm #18409AnonymousInactive
Husq NOX is a great bike, I would like to own one. What is your law in the UK for race bikes on the road?April 10, 2004 at 8:42 pm #18410
To have a daytime MOT (and therefore be street-legal) it must have a stoplight and reflector, a horn of some sort and be silenced to some degree.
Quite how this thing got through the noise side of things, I hate to think, as it is very loud and sounds terrific.
It is just SO light, though.
The very low weight, just makes it accelerate and also stop really well.April 12, 2004 at 1:01 am #18411

Many bikes have much bigger pistons though.
Suzuli DR800 (single), 10 years back.
Honda VTX1800 (twin), current bike.
