My brother bought one last weekend, probably the first one to shoe up in Austin. I rode it for a bout an hour and it is much more than the Wee I usually ride.
First, it pulls from the ground up, much more torque in the low RPM’s.
And it keeps pulling, its got to have more horses! I didn’t get a chance to go head to head with my Wee but I dont think I would have stood a chance.
Much more maneuverable, may be due to the smaller wheels. felt lighter too but I think it is about the same weight as the V-650.
It won’t fit me though, too tall, and no provisions for a dogbone swap. The dealer said it has an optional 2 inch lower seat.
The shock would have to be sectioned, probably a hundred bucks or so to lower the frame but there is a lot of room above the rear tire for it.
Also, you think the Stroms windscreen has problems? This thing has a smaller screen and No Way to get face/head protection from it.
