This is my rat in progress, although not having the skills to modify it – so it’s still a standard GT550.

black board paint would be good then you could right directions on the tank lol

b and q blackboard paint is the best i have found at 6 quid a tin, the cheapest i have found is matt black masonry paint (free from work) but it scratches real easily.
I have also heard good reports about that rubberised bed liner used for pickups but it costs much more…

Would you consider dark green? I was in B&Q and they were selling off their dark green floor paint and I thought of this……for about 3 seconds.

What are the rules of making a rat bike? paint it mattblack and dont wash it and add things to it such as boxes, chains, nets and animals in this case?
Do you need to strip the bike down before matting it or can you just shove the paint on the pipes, engine and what not?
