I went to this superb event with Thumper and a couple of mates. Basically it is a celebration of racing through the years 1948-1966, the original time the track was used a venue for a variety of championships. The event is focused on cars, but classic bikes and aircraft are also well represented. The twist is every body from the drivers, to the mechanics, officials maje an atempt to dress in the period. I had a fantastic time and here are some my pictures of the bikes on show and been raced.

Action from Woodcote and approaching the chicane. 500GP star Wayne Gardner dominated

A brilliant event and the air displays by WW2 Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang etc were breathtaking
