Flickr photo hosting – a few questions

Went on line to sign up today and it directed me to get a Yahoo account. Is this normal?

Site anygood?

Can I link to the photos to be visible on here?

Yup Flickr is owned by Yahoo, not tried linking to here though, give it a go and let us know your findings

Yep, Flickr requires a Yahoo account. 1TB of free storage is great but watch the privacy policy. Make all your images public and someone will doubtless copy and use them.

Best to set the default privacy to ‘private’ straight away and then open up to ‘public’ those photos you want to show. This can be done at the upload stage.

Discovered that my PC is choc full at the moment, as soon as I sort that out I will go onto Flickr and join up
