    Welcome to the Forum and for the interesting insights into Chinese bikes. Sounds like it is serving you well overall for the money

    A friend of mine has just bought his son a new Yamasaki (great name) 50. Be interesting to see how it gets on.

    They plan to put a larger engine when he gets older.

    I also work for a certain large car and SUV producer funnily enough.

    Would have to have a close-up photo of it really, but if it’s what I think then can’t you rotate the brake pedal on the spline and re-adjust the connecting actuator? Same principle for the gear lever, just rotate it on the spline.
