Those Members that regularly visit Craven Arms in South Shropshire will be aware that there are 2 biker friendly cafes in the town, namely The Station Cafe and Harry Tuffins Cafe. Regarding the latter, it is closed throughout May, but the former operators namely Lyndon and Andrea have just taken over the lease of The Lazy Trout on the A49 5½ miles north of Craven Arms, 1 Mile South of Church Stretton, just above the twisties at Marshbrook.

1st Day of opening Monday 11th May

This cafe is one of the earliest transport cafes in the country having opened in the 1930’s, being on a North/South Trunk Route it was once a 24 hour cafe.

Opening hours are now 6 A.M.- 9 P.M. Monday to Friday and 6 A.M.-6 P.M. Saturday and Sunday, they WILL stay open longer if there are bikers still there, this they could not previously do as part of the terms of the lease whilst at Tuffins. There is a good chance that this will become a very popular venue during the summer months. [:)]You will get a warm welcome if you visit[:)]
