Some years ago a GPz600R riding mate of mine lost it on a bend and had a head on with a low loader carrying a steam traction engine. He escaped virtually without a scratch, having been thrown clear by the impact. His bike was toast, the Steam traction engine broke loose and crushed the cab of the lorry! An honourable draw for the GPz!!
He scared himself so much however that he has never riden since and now drives a Westfield for kicks.Fuggin Nora… lol
And people say bikes are dnagerous, and in reality it was because bikes have no cage around them that he survived,of course this can also be a draw back…
