Long story really. Only took it apart to up the idle speed. Cutting it short, battery went flat couldn’t find the charger as everythings still in boxes. Alarm went off and wouldn’t disarm, alarm held in one hand ripped out of the seat unit, wires exploded everywhere, alarm still going off in my hand until I hit it with a lump hammer.
All happened in about one minute so goes to show a bike is still very much nickable even if it has a 400 quid alarm on it.
Anyone can have the bike off me, make me an offer, just needs loom fixing, I can’t be arsed with the piece of sh1te. Worst bike over ever had, even my bandit 6 was more fun!And I still feel bad about taking a hammer to a watch I couldn’t get the back back onto, that was about 8 years ago, so guess your going to feel for this for quite some time. Yes we ALL feel frustated at times, I guess every one of us could right a best seller on the subject. Do we mellow with age? I think not, we just accept S*!t happens regardless.

anyways for once I’ve decided to make the piece of poo a great bike by throwing a couple of quid at it and make it what it should be. Power commander on the way, just in the process of getting a racefit growler off eBay and a few other bits and pieces. Then I’ll be sorting the wiring loom out (which is totally shredded radar) n will hopefully hav it back soonish.
Will possibly bs getting a gasflowed head bolted on to give it a bit more whallop.quote:
